Hi All,
I'm Laura. I'm from the Northeast of the United States and have been living over here in London for eight years now, dancing for the last five. I am, without doubt, what one would call a Lindy addict. Love the idea of the site. I cannot tell you the time I spent/wasted in my early dancing life googling everything and anything Lindy-related hoping to find this kind of set-up for London/the UK. Very cool! Welcome to swingjunction! Where in the Northeast of the States are you from? My dad's from Massachussetts and I went to uni in Rhode Island so I know a lot of the area well(ish). :) Tanja

Hmm. Although I do have four holes in my left ear, I wouldn't go so far as to say that I have 'piercings,' and I don't have any tatts, so it probably wasn't me. But I am rather hardcore so maybe it was the 'vibe' I was giving out.*
*this is most definitely a joke. I am a big wimp and it shows. But maybe it was me? Some time we'll bump into each other and it'll all make sense...

Grew up in Storrs, CT -- home of UConn -- during the winter months; Mattapoisett, MA during the summer ones. My extended family are all from the North Shore of Boston: Salem, Lynnfield, Rockport. (Or should I say Nawth Shoah). Then lived on the Cape for a few years before leaving the country. x

From Australia originally. (Sydney/Tasmania) Been in London for the last year and a bit (as part of the Reverse-Convict Immigration Wave of 2005!)- but have taken a break from actively dancing recently. Unfortunatly heading back to Australia very, very soon!

OK so I've finally signed up. Great to have a board like this for us Londoners (and other Brits)! In spite of my alias I don't do much lindyhop any more. The bal bug bit me, what can I say. The high point of the bal calendar is upon us. Can hardly wait!

I'm Dave from the States, thus the username. Originally from Virginia, I'm over here for a bit living in brixton and loving getting more involved in the scene.
